The Med-Lift 5600 is larger and even more luxurious version of the Med-Lift 5500W. It combines the outstanding comfort of a standard Med-Lift chair with a wall-hugger mechanism. This means that you can place the chair as little as 3 1/2" from the wall and still be able to fully recline. It is built with a low-voltage Okin motor known for its silent operation and comes with a chaise pad to fully support your legs as you relax. For added convenience, the arm rests flip up to reveal storage compartments to hold your drinks, remotes, and magazines.

I was very much looking forward to getting my Med-Lift lift chair. It quickly turned into a nightmare of one service call after another. When lifting, the chair lurches to the right side and creaks and groans as it lifts. Five service calls have failed to resolve it. The beautifully buttoned back quickly began to sag and the buttons easily pop loose. The standard foam seat is uncomfortable and I can only tolerate it for a few hours at a time. After only 3 years I am giving up and will buy another chair from a different manufacturer. This chair was a very expensive, horrible mistake. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand. |
